Dear Jim
The staff here are wonderful in every way in every department.
I hate to ever start naming any one person because this would appear to leave another special person out.
However, a little lady, called Laura Huynh who is a very kind person and I would like to have this recognized, with thanks.

The Manor Village is the most wonderful place for a senior to live in retirement. The ambience created by The Manor staff is incredible – its not homelike – it is ‘HOME’. Everything possible is done for our health, entertainment, dining pleasure, outings, social life, comfort and more. It is all done very efficiently and with big smiles from the staff. I am so fortunate to live here.

The Manor Village at Scottsdale
I am a little late with my compliments to ALL the staff at The Manor. The friendliness and genuine caring of all concerned with our concerns is truly appreciated.
All of the Dining room staff add to our dinner pleasure. They are so patient and kind with us old ‘dolls’ and guys.
I am sure these opinions are representative of all of us.

I have found all the staff in every department I have had dealings with to be helpful and kind. If I were to name them all the list would be very long. I can only hope they know how much I appreciate them and care for them. There has never been a hesitation when asked to help move or lift something. There have been occasions when I have been struggling to take something to my car and someone has always insisted on helping. No task seems to big or too small. When I thank the staff it is always a friendly reply “that’s what I am here for” or “I am glad to help you out”. Many have been on the receiving end of the staffs caring nature; they are a credit to The Manor Village!

I would like to recognize all of the Staff! Everyone of them are special in there own way. I have never had a negative experience in the 4 ½ years I have lived here. I think the people you have are the ‘TOPS’. It would be impossible for me to recognize just one!
Congratulations, I love living here!

Dear Tim,
I cannot begin to express my family’s gratitude for the care that mom (and previously dad) have received while residents at Staywell Manor. We are saddened with the prospect of not seeing these wonderful caregivers who we have all come to know and have such fond feelings for. My parents were always treated with the utmost dignity and compassion and we will be forever thankful.
Each of your staff has touched us in some way but there are always certain people who we will always remember. I cannot begin to say enough about Heather Ling. Her love for her work, her staff and the residents of memory care is demonstrated constantly. Heather always makes you feel loved and important and this comes through in all of her actions.
Howard has always gone out of his way for mom and has been there to tease her of give her a compliment which makes mom so happy. Emma, Laura and Andrea are three caregivers that I feel that I wanted to make separate mention of. They were always there with kind comment, or to help mom with her dressing and often helping with the things that mom really enjoys like fixing her hair and makeup.
Again Tim, please extend our thanks to your staff and yourself for helping us with our parents and providing them with such a warm and loving place to be.

Dear Georgette,
How do we even begin to thank you and all the "family" my Mom acquired while living at the Manors? My husband Tom and I spent many hours visiting countless senior living and assisted living homes over four years. The Manors was our choice to entrust the care of my mother, Jean Long. You were patient and kind as we struggled with the decision to move her to the Manors from her house in California where she had lived for 55 years.
It is a big move to go from independent living to a senior living apartment; to leave familiar places, family and friends. You and the Manors' staff made the move so much easier by being her friend, caring for her, loving her with big hugs and smiles; spending the time to talk with her and make her laugh. She was not lost in a huge retirement community but fit in so nicely with the Manors' close-knit community.
As Mom's health declined, the Wellness stagg at the Manors became more involved with her care. When she had two emergencies, Angel Johnston, RN and a CNA responded within two minutes. their training and gentle care were exceptional.
Mom always enjoyed joining other residents for wonderful dinners and lunches in the dining room. The excellent menu was one of the reasons we chose the Manors. Having eaten there several times, Tom and I know first hand how excellent the food is and with a with a wonderful selection.
I think about the people at the Manors often... from staff to other residents. We were so lucky to have you as part of our lives.
—Sincerely, Patti Walter
Dear Administrators,
My 98-year-old mother, Elizabeth C. Yenckel, lived for five years at Manor Village on Desert Cove Avenue until my sisters, my wife and I decided she needed more care. We moved her to a neaby assisted living group home on April 2.
This note is to express our thanks for the generous care Elizabeth increasingly needed and received from your staff. Our particular appreciation goes to Angel Johnston, R.N., the wellness director, and her dedicated crew of caregivers.
Ms. Johnston went out of her way to provide reassuring comfort to my mother and was wonderfully generous with the embracing hugs Elizabeth cherished. Elizabeth also became quite fond of Myrna, a caregiver who in later months of her stay helped her with her laundry and other housekeeping tasks. Gine, another caregiver, provided comforting around-the-clock care when Elizabeth required it.
In her final years at the Manor Village, Elizabeth took her dinner meal in her room every night. Our thanks go to the dining room staff who made sure that her food was delivered regularly. If she forgot to place an order, the staff called to remind her. They were watching out for her.
Finally, we want to thank the gentleman who staffs the Manor Village overnight. On several occasions, when Elizabeth became ill or otherwise unsettled, he responded promptly to her call and helped relieve her distress. She felt reassured at night knowing he was on the property.
In sum, Elizabeth, who is doing well in her new home, has a very positive image of her stay at the Manor Village, thanks in large part to the care - and the hugs - she received from your staff.
—Sincerely, James "Jim" T. Yenckel
